Designation : MYSQL DBA
Experience : 4-7 years
Education: B.E./B.Tech/MCA
Job Location – Gurgaon
Reporting : Project Manager
Role:
Key Responsibilities:
1.Ability to work with others groups to design and implement distributed MySQL architecture that will support operational expectations.
2. Actively administered several production MySQL servers in a high-traffic and distributed OLTP environment, with a mix of masters and slaves replication.
3. Have written moderately complex Linux/Unix shell scripts utilizing built-in shell variables, regular expressions, conditional expressions, functions.
4. Strong knowledge and experiences in setting up and administered MySQL replication. Ability to resolve replication delay and synchronization issues.
5. Strong knowledge of MySQL backup, recovery and upgrade procedures.
6. Help identify inefficient queries and suggesting alternatives.
7. Working knowledge of Linux/Unix tools.
8. Basic knowledge of MySQL performance tuning at the MySQL server configuration level as well as SQL tuning.
9. 24x7 production on-call support
10. Two to three years' experience supporting MySQL in a Linux/Unix environment.
Any Engineering Graduate or Equivalent Qualification.
