Sports Editor(1-3 year)

Responsibilities:

The Editor will select and script the items for our mobile publications.
Publications usually on a daily basis and cover Sports, Entertainment or special interest areas.
Each issue comprises up to ten items, and about a 15 word script for each item.


You will

• Select, source and report news and feature items
• Be responsible for writing, editing, proof-reading the script
• Manage assignments to meet tight deadlines in with attention to quality


Requirements:

• Must have news media experience and a minimum of 1 year experience as a News
Editor, as your subject matter
• Fully conversant with current trends and happenings on Cricket and other sports
• Familiar with social and cultural issues in the youth and young adult market.
• Knowledge and understanding of the young speaking Indian market.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Flair for writing with an attitude and an eye for interesting angles
• Mature, responsible and professional
